UX / UI Designer

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to interpret data and test feedback for constant product improvement and proposed new features. A creative problem solver with innovative solutions for native and web-based digital.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• The UX/UI Designer will own the user experience for one or more Systems and will serve 1-3 agile teams
• Build user journeys, prototypes, sitemaps, and wireframes based on requirements provided by the Product Manager and development team members.
• Organize an engaging user interface for native and web-based digital products and experiences.
• Design UI mockups and visual elements for development hand-off one sprint ahead of dev/config work.
• Present design work, including clickable prototypes where appropriate, to the team for approval.
• Participate in the creation, maintenance, and refinement of our digital product backlog.
• Propose new features that optimize the UX based on industry best practices and user testing feedback.
• Conduct user testing in partnership with the product and marketing teams.
• Interpret data and qualitative feedback from formal tests, analytics tools, and survey results to support recommendations for improvements.
• Consult with the Product Manager to understand goals and research results to best inform the user’s journey.
• Partner with the UX team to deliver a uniform user experience for all products.
• Partner with the UX team lead to maintain a design component system and library of assets to enhance design efficiency for all team members and partners, as well as to support engineering efforts and requests with ease and accuracy.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in a startup environment
• Experience conducting user testing, consumer journey mapping, and the design/build of user interfaces and prototypes for native mobile, responsive web, and internal applications
• Strong data visualization skills
• An eye for great, modern design trends
• Portfolio of work demonstrating skills in UX/UI design
• Proficient with Figma & Adobe Creative Suite
