Senior Project Accountant

This role is for a nationally acclaimed commercial construction and development company in the western part of the Twin Cities. Our client is looking for a transactional accountant who is looking to grow within the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate monthly job cost close
• Monthly account reconciliations
• Monthly account analysis
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and analysis
• Assist with year-end audit/review
• Perform other related activities and duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Solid computer skills
• Attention to detail, good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage time effectively while handling multiple projects
• General construction knowledge as it relates to accounting is a plus
• Sage and Timberline experience a plus
