Senior Product Manager

As a Senior Product Manager in the medical device industry, you will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with various departments to develop and execute product strategies that align with the company’s goals and meet customer needs. Your role will involve market research, product development, regulatory compliance, and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic product plans for medical devices, including product roadmap, pricing, and positioning strategies.
• Conduct market research and gather insights to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Define product requirements and specifications based on customer and market insights.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and design teams to develop new medical device concepts and enhancements.
• Manage the product development process, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as FDA guidelines.
• Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and promotional materials.
• Conduct product training for internal teams and support sales efforts with product knowledge and technical expertise.
• Monitor product performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement or growth opportunities.
• Engage with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and customers to gather feedback and insights for product enhancements.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure product consistency and alignment with international regulations and market needs.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in the medical device industry and proactively identify potential business opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• 5+ years of proven experience in product management, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data, customer insights, and sales metrics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive and innovative mindset with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
