ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
FP&A
- Develop and execute the forecasting and planning processes to meet the demands of a fast-paced business and the need for accurate and timely financial data. This includes budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reporting packages.
- Develop and enhance metrics to allow the company to take simple but effective informed views of its financial and operational profile.
- Direct the Division consolidation of annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting exercises across regions with the objective of driving efficiencies and improvements in process and quality of information.
- Conduct and drive ad hoc analysis in support of strategic discussions and decisions, process improvement initiatives, and other special projects as needed for scenario modeling, cash flow analysis, etc.
- Directs and manages the performance of the financial planning and analysis in accordance with company policy and procedures. Calculate and report KPIs.
Accounting
- Prepare financial records, including: month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes; preparation and/or review of a variety of journal entries, performance of account reconciliations and analyses; report writing.
- Prepare monthly budget vs actual reports and perform variance analysis
- Assist in the financial statement close process and limited customer invoicing
Leadership
- Establish strong strategic business partner relationships with management in all business functional areas.
- Work closely with our customer’s Finance Leadership team to deliver superior service and meet contractual financial obligations
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, financial planning & analysis
- Strong Excel skills in data compilation, aggregation, and proficiency with advanced Excel formulas.
- Experienced in financial modeling exercising responsibilities involving the financial planning and analysis functions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills specifically to work cross-functionally with internal and external customers.
- Experience thriving in matrixed culture.
- Understand and interpret complex issues and recommend actions resulting in improved business performance.
- Demonstrated ability to combine strategic and detailed perspectives.
- Experience driving cross-functional collaboration with a strong emphasis on customer focus and building high-performing teams.
