Senior Accountant

Oggi is engaged by our client seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team of professionals, reporting directly to the Corporate Controller. They are seeking out a curious & ambitious personality who is capable of supporting month/year end close processes while also gaining exposure to various ad-hoc projects along the way!

Location: Minneapolis (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of general ledger in order to prepare financial reports and interpret results for management.
• Drive month end close process, responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, and subsequent auditing to ensure accuracy and completeness of financials.
• Analyze financials as well as gross profit reports to help explain results to Senior Leadership
• Review sales & use tax billings & reports for accuracy and completeness
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including creating forms or manuals, development of processes, procedures, and best practices,

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance OR equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) as this role will be responsible for managing relationships with both Internal & External stakeholders
• Great Plains & Excel experience
