.NET Web Developer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled .NET Web Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework. The .NET Web Developer will work closely with other members of the engineering team to ensure that our web applications are scalable, reliable, and efficient.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the Microsoft .NET framework, specifically ASP.NET Core
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and requirements
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Visual Studio
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
• Continuously improve the quality and performance of our web applications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 2+ years of experience in web development using the Microsoft .NET framework, specifically ASP.NET (Core preferred)
• Proficiency in C#, .NET framework and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with front-end development using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience with software development tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
