Marketing Communications Manager – (Hybrid)

Our client in Jacksonville, Florida, seeks a skilled and motivated Marketing Communications Manager to join their dynamic team. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing communication strategies to promote products, services, and brand. You will play a key role in rebranding initiatives, managing SEO, updating email platforms, optimizing campaigns from an email perspective, and overseeing web updates.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to bring social media management in-house, including drafting press releases, social posts, managing the social calendar, and posting to social media. You will also be responsible for sending out newsletters, managing/proofing content, and maintaining email databases. This role will collaborate closely with a third-party website development vendor, helping manage updates, verbiage, content, and press releases.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing communication plans that align with the company’s overall marketing objectives, including rebranding initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage SEO strategies and implementation, ensuring the website and content are optimized for search engines.
  • Oversee the update and optimization of email platforms, including managing email databases, creating engaging content, and analyzing email campaign performance.
  • Optimize marketing campaigns from an email perspective, including segmentation, A/B testing, and personalized content strategies to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the third-party website development vendor to manage updates, verbiage, content, and press releases on the new website.
  • Create and draft press releases, ensuring they are compelling, accurate, and aligned with the brand’s messaging and objectives.
  • Develop and draft social media posts, maintaining the social calendar, and posting to various social media platforms.
  • Send out newsletters to targeted audiences, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with the brand’s tone and guidelines.
  • Manage and proofread content across various marketing channels to maintain consistency, accuracy, and high-quality standards.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to bring social media management in-house, including recruiting and managing a social media team.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing communications and social media management best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including graphic designers, product managers, and sales representatives, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing communication activities, using metrics and data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners involved in marketing communication initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and quality output.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field with five years experience in Marketing Communications.
  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Communications Manager or similar role, preferably with experience in Health Care, Medical Device Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and channels.
  • Knowledge of marketing communication principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms such as content management systems, email marketing software, social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across various digital, print, and events channels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze data and extract actionable insights to optimize marketing communication activities.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing communication ideas and initiatives.
