IT Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable IT requirements. The IT Business Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and requirements and ensure that IT solutions meet business needs and goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
• Translate business requirements into actionable IT requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and requirements
• Work with software development teams to ensure that IT solutions meet business needs and goals
• Create functional specifications, user stories, and other documentation as needed
• Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and risk analyses to evaluate proposed IT solutions
• Develop test plans and participate in testing activities to ensure that IT solutions meet business requirements
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and other team members
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in IT and business analysis

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into IT solutions
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, TFS)
• Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with process improvement and optimization
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC)
