Financial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team and support forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capability, and the ability to work closely with executive leaders in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
• Forecast quarterly and annual profitability.
• Prepare cost projections across multiple business lines, including entity-level P&L reporting.
• Partner with department heads on budget-to-actual reviews and monthly reforecasting.

Reporting & Analysis

• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly Board and leadership reporting packages.
• Compare anticipated and actual results across financial metrics and operating KPIs, and identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct revenue-stream variance and bridge analysis.
• Generate ad hoc analysis for executive decision-making.

Business Partnership & Strategy

• Coordinate with the CFO and executive team on long-term financial planning.
• Explore investment options, including M&A, and present associated risks and opportunities.
• Analyze cash flow data to identify trends and recommend strategies for improvement.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.

Process Improvement & Data Integrity

• Review accounting transactions for data accuracy.
• Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies.
• Drive reporting process improvement and automation.
• Conduct research on historical financial data to support planning and analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis.
• Baseline understanding of GAAP and differential accounting.
• Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts.
