Cost Accountant

Oggi is seeking a Cost Accountant for a Minnesota-based manufacturer who is well known as a global leader in their industry. This is an office-based role in the western suburbs. Our client is looking for a Cost Accountant with manufacturing experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Audit Bill of Materials (BOM) to maintain accuracy
• Review and analyze actual costs to identify inaccuracies
• Month-end and year-end closing
• Update and create overhead codes and formulas
• Audit product site setup and OH calculations, ensuring correct setup
• Perform other duties and analytics as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Minimum of two years of cost accounting experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Proficient in data entry and management
• Sage experience is a plus
